Writing for the Slicks

I love this slang term from back in the day.  The "slicks" from long ago were of all varieties and contained a mishmash of material, kind of like this blog.  I'll be writing about whatever comes to mind.  Since this is a blog, and not an actual magazine, guess I won't be writing for the slicks.  Nope.  Me, I'll just be writing for the kicks.
